The last time I checked there was not enough changes in the peering relationships to make an updated report interesting. This was at the beginning of March if I remember correctly.

I am planning to make a new report soon when I have time, as half a year has passed since the making of this original report.

I am currently using Excell internet via CDMA mobile phone dial up modem, the speed is good enough for me, but I have a problem with error package received from Excell.
Do you why there is error package on the receivng part? but at the time I use GSM modem there is problem at all with the error package.
Is it because of CDMA technology?

Unfortunately there is no way for myself to find out the total available up-stream bandwidth in Cambodia. It is difficult or nearly impossible to measure. I would have to have insider information from each of the ISPs that have international transit circuits.

It could be possible to roughly estimate the maximum potential bandwidth by looking at the fiber optic lines and microwave transmission circuits going across the borders, but the reality is that there is currently much excess capacity in the fibers reserved for future expansion.

The amount of real available bandwidth mostly depends on the contracts the Cambodian ISPs have with their up-stream providers. Providers are generally not willing to publish that kind of information.
